Feature
■ Equipped with a circular laser marker
■ IPX4 waterproof: resists water splashes from any direction.
■ Backlight on display
■ Emissivity is adjustable between 0.10 and 1.00 in steps of 0.01.
What is emissivity?
- All objects emit infrared rays corresponding to surface temperature. The amount of energy given by radiated infrared rays depends not only on temperature but also material and surface condition of the object, thus the coefficient named emissivity is necessary to calculate temperature.
■ Setting upper and lower limit alarm, "peak" mode (continuous display of maximum), "valley" mode (continuous display of minimum) are available.
When "peak" mode is chosen, SK-8130 measures temperature continuously and shows a maximum value constantly. "Valley" mode does the same for a minimum value.
■ PSC mark is labeled on the device to prove its quality based on Japan's Consumer Product Safety Act.
Description
■ Caution! This device is for industrial use, not for clinical use.
■ Measuring spot
A laser projected from the laser window in the center of the sensing area navigates the measuring area and its center.
■ Measured area depends on distance from the object as shown below.
■ For the better measurement
A square and a circle represent the object and the measured area respectively.
